There’s only 10 day left for SRP MP Mu Sochua to show up in court in regards to the lawsuit brought up by Hun Sen against her for defamation. However, up to now, she is still unable to find a lawyer to defend her after Kong Sam Onn, her former lawyer, withdrew and decided to join the CPP.
Mrs. Mu Sochua told reporters that, in general, she should have a lawyer defending her, but up to now, she had not heard the Phnom Penh municipal court reply to her request to replace her lawyer. If the situation is such that she cannot find a lawyer to defend her, Mu Sochua said that she will not back down, and she plans to show up in court on 24 July with or without a defense lawyer.
She said that no lawyers dare touch her court case because they are afraid to defend her in court, she said that this is an unacceptable situation.
