Mrs. Mu Sochua, SRP deputy Secretary-general of the opposition Sam Rainsy Party, confirmed that she will appeal her case against Hun Xen to the Appeal court following the announcement of her guilty verdict by the Phnom Penh municipal court. The PPenh court ordered her to 8.5 million riels ($2,125) to the state, and 8 million riels ($2,000) to Hun Xen. Mrs. On Wednesday morning, Mrs. Mu Sochua told DAP-news over the phone: “I will send my appeal to the Appeal court this Wednesday afternoon regarding the [lawsuit] case involving Samdach prime minister.”
