Cambodian PM visits disputed border

Cambodian prime minister Hun Sen has visited the disputed Thai border. There he spoke with Thai border guards and was confronted by around 100 Thai demonstrators who say the 11th century Preah Vihear Temple complex claimed by Cambodia actually belongs to Thailand.
The border dispute between the two countries has been going on for decades. Soldiers from both armies stand metres away from one another. In 2008, four people died in violent clashes over the temple. Last year, three people were killed in gunfire exchanges.
Meanwhile Cambodia has complained to Google that on its maps the Temple complex is half on Thai territory. The Thai-Cambodian border has never been fully demarcated as the region is littered with landmines following decades of war in Cambodia.
