Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said on Tuesday Thailand and Cambodia will reinstate their ambassadors today, and expected the three Thai villagers who were arrested by Cambodian soldiers last week will return to the country soon.
Mr Abhisit's comment came following the resignation of fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra as Cambodia's economic adviser.
"Mr Prasart Prasartwinitchai, the ambassador to Cambodia, will travel to Phnom Penh today, while the Cambodian envoy to Thailand should return to Bangkok the same day as well," Mr Abhisit said.
