Demonstrations await Ban Ki-moon's arrival in Phnom Penh

On 26 October, cops have set up barricades along Preah Sothearos street, from the public park at Wat Botum up to the royal palace to prevent Rong Chhun, President of the Cambodian Confederation of Unions, and union members from gathering in front of the old National Assembly building to march over to hand their petition to UN Secretary-general Ban Ki-moon during his visit to Cambodia today.
