Indonesian Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa is scheduled to arrive in Cambodia Monday to sign deal to help monitor on border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand, a government official said Sunday.
Koy Kuong, spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said Sunday that Marty Natalegawa will be arriving in Phnom Penh on Monday to meet with Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and will sign the earlier arranged term of reference on observers to be placed at the so called “disputed area.”
He did not elaborate on details of the term of reference or whether he will discuss with Hor Namhong on the latest clash.
Koy Kuong also declined to comment on whether Marty will talk with his boss on the latest clashes between Cambodian and Thai troops that were stuck in fighting for over the past three consecutive three days since Friday morning.
