Veera, a yellow shirt leader, does not know about the request.

The mother of yellow-shirt activist Veera Somkwamkid yesterday sought assistance from arch rival former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra to have her son freed from a Cambodia prison.
The mother, Wilaiwan Somkwamkid, together with her younger son Preecha Somkwamkid, met Thaksin's close aide Noppadon Pattama and opposition Pheu Thai Party spokesman Prompong Nopparit to submit the request to Thaksin.
Veera and another activist, Ratree Pipattanapaiboon, are being held in Cambodia's Prey Sar prison for eight and six years respectively on espionage charges.
Wilaiwan said she needed to ask for Thaksin's help as the government under Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva haf failed to have her and Ratree released from the prison.
