Buddhist monks and supporters of the Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) gather at Freedom Park in Phnom Penh October 6, 2013. The opposition Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) held a "people's congress'"and protested in the capital, Phnom Penh, to continue their push for independent investigation into alleged rigging of the July 28 election, which the party of long-serving Prime Minister Hun Sen won, prolonging his 28-year rule. Rejecting the opposition party's demand and claims it won the election, as well as calls by the U.S. and European Union to review poll irregularities, Hun Sen went ahead forming the new government last month in the face of CNRP's boycott of parliament.
