Joint committee for Development Triangle holds its fourth session

The fourth session of the joint co-ordination committee for the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle was held in Buon Me Thuot, Dak Lak province on December 22 to discuss the implementation and adjustment of an overall socio-economic development plan for the region.
The session drew the participation of Ministers of Planning and Investment and Trade from Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia and leaders from ten provinces in the region.
Cambodian Minister of Trade Cham Prasidh, who is also chairman of the co-ordination committee, said that this was an important session, aimed at implementing the agreements signed by the three countries in Vientiane recently on investment, trade and tourism. He highlighted the implementation of the development triangle over the past years in terms of building infrastructure, attracting investment and training human resources.
