The Abhisit government has failed to solve the country's economic problems, curb corruption or bring about national reconciliation in its first year in office, the opposition Puea Thai Party says.
The party is demanding that the government step down immediately.
Deputy Puea Thai leader Panpree Pahitthanukorn told a news conference yesterday the government had borrowed 400 billion baht to tackle the economic recession but so far had only spent 5% on economic solutions.
