Unpredictable natural disasters and concern about political risk are driving growing demand for data centre services in Thailand this year, with major providers embarking on additional investments worth at least 300 million baht.
TCC Technology, the country's leading commercial data centre service provider, is spending 200 million baht to build two data centres in Bangkok and Cambodia to tap increasing demand for its services.
Managing director Kosit Suksingha said the Cambodia project was the company's first outside of Thailand, and expansion to Vietnam was in the pipeline.
