On 01 Feb 2012, a few Borei Keila women protested against their forced evictions from their homes in January. The CPP pigs (cops) were sent to beat these women and undress them in public. Later on, they violently arrested several of the women. A group of women from Boeung Kak Lake – who also suffer forced eviction – came to lend a hand to the Borei Keila. In the aftemath of the arrest of Borei Keila, several women asked where was De-chor Hun Xen when the people suffer in misery?
Each one of you own villas, you own cars, you want your children to have higher education while the people live in misery! Do you see any of this? Where are you De-chor (Hun Xen)? Where are you?
