MINI owners in the Lothians are being challenged to take part in a charity treasure hunt later this month.
The treasure hunt will see the iconic cars dispatched on a trail around East Lothian to collect the answers to a series of clues which in turn will lead them to prizes.
It is part of a number of fundraising events that have been organised by Edinburgh Mini dealer Peter Vardy throughout July and August to help reach the ambitious target of raising £40,000 for charity.
The prizes will include £250 to spend on jewellery at MacIntyres, Edinburgh, as well as champagne and Mini goodies.
All money raised will be donated to HAGAR International which urgently needs funds for its Community Learning Centre in Cambodia, where underprivileged children as young as four years old, who have been rescued from abusive people traffickers are given a chance of an education and a normal life.
The Treasure Hunt will begin at Peter Vardy Mini on Seafield Road, with the start time staggered from 12pm on Sunday, 23 August, and anyone wishing to enter should call 0845 468 0270.
