HRP marks the 1st anniversary of Democratic Movement for Change

STATEMENT

On January 15, 2010 is the 1st anniversary of signing together between H.E. Mr. Kem Sokha, the president of Human Rights Party (HRP), with H.E. Mr. Sam Rainsy, the president of Sam Rainsy Party (SRP), on an agreement to establish “Movement of Democratic for Change (DMC)” and both parties decided to nominate in the unique list in the national election day in 2012 and 2013 also. After an agreement released, both parties’ working group had been met several times but not yet achieve any good results that could respond to the want and need of Cambodian people. At present, Human Rights Party still insists all national and democratic political parties to unify and form a strongly big party standing on a liberal-democratic basic through merging together with Human Rights Party and Sam Rainsy Party. While discussing and negotiating not yet achieve any good results, Human Rights Party serves its rights to discuss with other parties or politicians that want to join or merge together in a new liberal-democratic political party in order to join an election in 2012 and 2013 regarding to the strongest intention of the Cambodian people that want to see democratic politicians to unify as a core in an election. Human Rights Party as like Cambodian people clearly aware that only unifying of democratic political parties through the democratic principles and basic to win an election and could do help Cambodian country from the last step into death stream and so the win of Cambodian people is depending on the unity of the new liberal-democratic party. In contrast, if democratic still could not unify and even each democratic parties gain some seat, those votes unavailable for Cambodian life-saving and it just to accompany the fake democratic and let communist-root party go on their trip to rule the country and destroy the rich natural resources, agricultural land and at the end, The Kingdom of Cambodia will become to the second Kampuchea Khrom and our Khmer citizen become to indigenous people on our mother land, furthermore, Khmer race will ever perish from the world in the future.
