The Thai government has played down Cambodian premier Hun Sen's fresh verbal attack on the Thai prime minister and said the government will exercise patience before taking any action.
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva commented on Cambodian PM Hun Sen's jibes against him, saying that it was a mere outburst of temper. The Thai premier insisted that he will not respond to Hun Sen's broadside against him.
Abhisit, however, said if Hun Sen's comments insulted the Thai Monarchy and the judiciary system or if Cambodians violated Thailand's sovereignty, the Foreign Ministry would counteract.
